May goodies (Haul)

First of all anyone who knows me knows how curly my hair is. I call it my natural disaster. I can't usually use a Straightening Iron on my hair because as soon as I go out in the humility it goes POOF with frizz. A few weeks ago while waiting on my prescription at Publix I was looking around at hair stuff and saw Frizz-Ease 3 Day Straight and thought would it hurt to try.

The 1st time I used it it made my hair straighter than it has ever been before . When I went out in the Humidity  my hair didn't frizz at all. I figured my hair would be fuzzy when I woke up i n the morning, but it wasn't all I had to do was bush it and it looked just as good as it did. After the 3 days I used it again it still worked really good.  My hair was still pretty straight, but not as straight as it was the 1st time. The only con is the bottle is so small you can't get that many uses out of it. I got like 4 uses out of it and I have short hair. I will use it again.****

I had some Extra Care buck and wanted to get more Argan Oil so I decided to give this a try!

It works awesome when I wear my hair curly. If I put it on my hair straightened it looks oil and then I have to use dry shampoo to even the balance out. I might buy it again. So far all the Argan oil have worked the same.. This one does smell kinda like candy. ****

My mom went to the Dollar Tree and found This Garnier  Color Saver.

I have only used it 3 times, My hair still looks newly colored, it don't look faded what so ever. I think  itsgood buy for a dollar. But this is the only problem. The Dollar Tree Don't get Brand Names that oftena  and they never last long and most products for hair or beauty are sent there because they aren't selling well at other retailers. I will have to hunt for this product. ****1/2

I love the little item is in the check out lane in Wal-Mart. My youngest daughter is obsessed with EOS lip balm. I saw and got the Sweet Mint one to Try.

Ok I understand why my child loves this. it smells and taste awesome it also last a very long time. I wear it all day. I also love to put it on before I go to bed. *****

I also bought in Line at Wal-Mart at the same time as I got the Balm EOS Hand lotion in Cucumber.

Kinda cool I had no idea EOS made Hand Lotion I Had to give it a try a. It smells really good and leaves your hands soft not greasy. I will buy it again and would like to find the other scents.

Essie Had to try an Essie Product and need a good fast drying to coat to try!

I am addicted to paining y nails . but always mess them up before they dry. This is awesome it dried under a minute. Most Defiantly will  buy again.*****    

I ran out of the Essie so I bought Sally Hanson's Diamond Strength Diamond Flash fast dry. I was being cheap it was only a dollar less.

This isn't no where a quick as Essie I think is had to do with the fact I am not that patient with my nails taking forever to dry.. This a lot slower than the Essie.

YES another polish for mu obsession. Looking for Pastels to do my News Paper Nails I am tired of the white all the time.

In the bottle it loos very light Lavender very pretty. It's still pretty, but not as light as the persons nails in the pic I shows and darker than it looked in the bottle. I still like and will wear it it pretty.. Not as Pastel as I hoped will try to take a pic to show if it comes out right on the camera. I would buy it again pretty.****1/2










This isn't a new product I discovered it a month or 2 ago. I love ir so much I just need to share. Nivea Touch of Happiness body wash with Orange blossom and bamboo essence .

I think I got it from Wal-Mart but not sure and I don't remember what it cost. 

I love Citrus scented body was they smell clean and fresh and make me happy using them. I have seen this one in stores for awhile and wanted to use it, just never grab it. OMG! it smells Amazingly Amazing. it smells kinda like an orange Cream cicle. No kidding I wanna eat it when I use  it smells that good.  I know not everyone likes that scent.. But if you do please try it at least once you will love it. I will use this until they stop making it and them I will be sad when and if they do!*****

I can't wait for May Haul

I got some pretty awesome stuff this month and I can't wait to share. I don't buy this stuff for the Hauls.. I actually buy it because I need it and I love trying new things.I have a bunch of stuff I have tried.  I am a drug store or Grocery store shopper, So much more convenience. I have a CVS Pharmacy less than a 1/2 mile from my house and a Kroger Grocery Store which is the same as Fred Meyer's 1 mile from my house. 1st off before I review what I got in my Birch Box I will tell you  little about it.  You ask to join and after you are accepted which takes a couple days you can order your Sample Box for $10 that include  shipping . In this box you get 3 to 5 deluxe sized samples and sometimes a full size sample. The sample sizes are worth more than the $10 box. All these products are high end  brands that you can try before you decide to buy.  Nothing is worse than buying high in products that you end up hating before you. buying them. The one thing good about  Birch Box is you can skip a month or two if you don't want to get products that month.

Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturizer by Algenist

I got a pretty good sized jar of this for being a sample. It smells like a moisturizer smooth and hydrating to the skin. I have only used it a couple times, but so far it's OK.

Color is Clambake Coral by Color Club

This a Beautiful coral color.. The only thing I wasn't crazy about it was it thin you have to add about three coats . It may work best with a base coat. It chipped pretty fast. I will still use it adjusting the way I put it in.I have a natural tan color to my skin it looks great with dark skin.

Kerastase Cristal liste  ..Basically a serum that adds shine and smooth Hair

 I have only used this once so far. It smells amazing.. It seemed to work like every shine serum I have used. But my hair smelled good and was shiny and soft. Don't go out ans spend the money on this product.

Sarah Monamara Miracle Skin Transformer Body SPF 20 in Glow

You cab use this any where on your body to cover flaws its tinted covers blemished and scars  on Arms Legs ant where.; Down side is it has sparkle to it and if you had a little blemish and you only wanted to cover that , you have a random sparkly patch.  I compromised how I use it I do have dark eye lids.. I use it as an eye-shadow primer.. It keeps your eye-shadow on all day. and I use it as a check highlighter.

I didn't use this I gave it to my daughter the sample was too small I have too much hair.. it wasn't enough to do 1/2 my hair. she has short hair.. she hasn't used it yet.

Introduction and a Small Haul for April.

My name is Charlene or most call me Char.  I am 38 years old and I like shopping and finding awesome things for good deals.  I am a single mom and money is very tight. When you have teen Girls they are always needing this and that.  I have decided to write a blog about my findings and also the Jewelry I have been making for almost a year.

I started making Jewelry to sell at a Fall Festival in  we have at out local American Legion, I haven't sold any as of yet. I have given some as gifts.  I will post the latest I have made to this blog. I am trying to make enough to sell this October. I am thinking about donating 10% of the sells to a charity I'm just not sure which on I want to give to, there are so many good ones out there.

That was just a short and sweet summery about me and now I am read to get along with my Haul for April some things I have bought that I love.

Nails

I have found at my local Drug Store is where I find a lot of stuff I love. I found Awesome nail polish on the cheap! the brand is Called Spoiled. They have more than a Rainbow of colors..Spoiled  retails for $1.99. but this week at CVS  Pharmacy it's on sell if you have a CVS card for $0.99. They work really well for the price you pay.

Skin/Make-up
Garnier makes so many new products it's not only for hair any more. Now moisturizers and skin care.

My 1st Garnier Product I purchased was Garnirt Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfecter BB Cream with SPF 15 . I never tried a BB Cream before , never even heard of it before until I started watching make over video's on Youtube. I wanted to try it since.. BB Creams usually sooo expensive. While shopping at CVS I saw that they had there Garnier BB cream and all the skin care products on sell.. I was look of a moisturizer and saw that it was $10.00 with CVS card.  Retail for around $ 12.50.  I tried it and like it pretty well. It works good for dry skin.. I have combination skin and applied this tinted moisturizer all over my face and didn't need foundation what so ever. For the oilier parts of my skin I used my talc free Mineral weal powder from Physicians Formula in those areas.

Eyes

Later the same day I went back to CVS . I  just could turn down the deals on the Garnier products I bought my mom a BB Cream and them I found myself Garnier Skin Renew Anti Dark Circle Roller for $10 with CVS  CARD.retails for about $12.50 I have seen it for different prices. The other cool perk is after buying 3 of these products I earned $5 Extra Care Bucks. There suppose to be caffeine to perk up your eyes. This eye roller is suppose to diminish dark circles after using it a couple weeks.. I don't wear make up everyday and since this is a tinted product I wear it with my make up.. I have no clue.... But it does do a great job at covering the Dark Circles.

Yesterday I was reading this product and I did kinda thought oh wow. On the back it reads CAUTION: FLAMMABLE UNTIL DRY. DO NOT USE NEAR FIRE,FLAMES OR HEAT.  Thank goodness I don't roast marshmallows while applying my eye cream.

That is it for my tiny Haul I just didn't shop much.... BUT I AM EXCITED I signed up for Birchbox and I should be recieving my very 1st Birchbox any day now. I kind of know what is in it..
