                                                        This Box is A back to Beauty School Box!

1st of all I believe I mentioned that last month I had a couple mess up with things not being sent. I was sent the Ear Buds and a sample packet of hair Serum. It wasn't the hair mask, but it still worked out. I had emailed Birch Box and told them about the phone call I had with an employee that told me that they where all out of the Ear buds and then I saw them shortly for sale on the website.  The lady emailed me back pretty fast and assured me that they do have them in stock and sent them to me.  Birch Boxed redeemed them self's 10 fold.

I am really happy I didn't end up unsubscribing to their service/. The August box was pretty good and I am pretty much happy with what I received.  If you do ever decide on Birch Box and have and issue be patient they do have excellent Customer Service.

• This fruity Perfume with Honey suckle, Gardenia and Jasmine  ,  they say it a light sent, but to me it kind strong and gave me a head ache, which I am sensitive to sent. It did smell good in any case. Even though I couldn't wear it I will recommend this Product.****

Schick Hydro Silk 5 blade Razor

This is a good quality Razor not too much to say about it. It was kinda weird to get this.. But I understand that they put random items in the box.. Its not a bummer just ok.****

Yu Be Moisturizing Skin Cream

This cream is good for Chapped dry lips, Moisturize Skin and Dry Heels.  Japans best selling moisturizing cream since the 1950's.  This is a natural Product.  It is also infused with Vitamins B C and E. 

It does feel  really great on the skin its not greasy, it actually feels soft.  It wasn't happy about the taste when it got on my mouth when I was using it. It kinda reminds me of Blamex . It that doesn't bother you then you will love it on your lips as well.  I didn't try it on my heels, it was a pretty small sample. I wouldn't buy it only for the fact that the full size is pricey for such a small tube.****

I have very naturally Kinky hair, I have tried EVERYTHING some things I used I liked, but never loved before now.  Before using this I have been using  Organix  Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Shampoo and conditioner and I have been noticing that it has made my hair look and feel better, It kinda made my hair looser .. well the curls, but as soon as I put my other products in my hair it felt crunchy.  When I got this product and used it. I didn't need any other products such as Gel or Hair spray. This did exactly what it sait it would. My hair has never felt softer.***** Yes I would recommend this.

I was happy to get another full size product. Its a very nice color and the liner is Water Proof. If you like naturally this a good color. There is more to choose from. I was very happy, amd a bit out of my price range... but I will recommend it if you are willing to pay for it.****

 

Birch Box July 2012

This months box is dedicated to our 5 senses.

This Months Birch Box had its ups and downs. The ups made up for the downs so I will purchase next months box. I had a couple things missing I called customer service they helped some what I will explain when I get to the products in question.

I actually got this twice I was missing an item and they sent me the wrong item. I did like this product a lot it really made my hair soft and pretty. I didn't like the size of the sample the packet was a pretty good size, but there wasn't much in it. This a weightless hair serum good for dry or color treated hair. Amika softens hair while smoothing out fly away's ****

This product I can't give my opinion on because this is the one I never received, I think I would have liked it.

This product is a deep conditioning mask it helps remove shampoo and conditioner residue.It also helps repair split ends. It has Moroccan Oil Vitamin C and other natural ingredients.

I was happy to finally get a full size product this more than payed for my box. But at 1st I saw it was purple it at first freaked me out I thought it would be lavender, because the purple it showed in the container looked light. I opened it and tried it out and it ended up being a beautiful dark lavender color. This isn't great for all day wear it kinda flakes after a couple hours. Its easy to apply I love the felt tip. It looks great with my green blue eyes. ****

Boscia BB Cream SPF 27

This BB Cream was very nice.. its different than the one I normally use it's thicker and is great for more of a full coverage use where mine is a light coverage. I like the fact that the Boscia  has a good amount of SPF in it. I don't think I will buy it even though I do like it , for such a small container its a bit pricey for mu budget. I was honored to try it . The sample was a good size and I can get a few uses out of it. *****

I don't care much for food in my box, but I knew before starting Birch Box that time to time I will get food. I didn't try this I gave it to my daughter and she liked it. I might buy more of later in date. I found them at a local store cheaper I think they where a dollar a bar. If you like sweet and salty this is the snack bar for you.

I was happy to finally get a perfume sample. I was hearing women say I am sick of Birch Box always sending me perfume. This box number 3 and I finally got a sample. I like this scent its a light mixture of citrus and floral notes, a very good summery scent . It has a fresh lemon scent mixed with Mandarin also a floral forsythia and pink plumeria which are found in Hawaiian  Leis. If it wasn't so expensive I would buy it in a heart beat*****

I never received this item. I called Birch Box and Customer Service said they ran out of the Ear Buds and suppose to add some Birch Box points to my account, but they haven't and I called them 3 weeks ago. My issue is they know how many customers they have, they should have order that many plus extras for new customers as well.  If I did love the rest of the box I would have canceled.  

No Fall Festival

I was looking at more beads and  jewelry making things, since I am really behind on making things to sell. My mom in formed me that the festival is canceled, my heart sank after all the money and time I had spent. What I plan to do is either go ahead and make more jewelry to sell at some other venue or just to my friends or if all fails I can always give it as gifts. It sucks  was relying on this to help out with Christmas.

I know that things you hope for don't always come out the way you plan, I things will workout how they where meant to in the end.

June Birch Box 2012

This month also is themed, This is the Travel Birch Box.  One thing I would like to share is not everyone has the same exact items in them.  Some girls got full size products.. I haven't received  any as of yet.  I like to watch Youtube videos and see what everyone got.  There are surveys you can earn points towards full size products or a free box. I had too search how to do the survey. What you do is around the 15th or 20 th of the month at the top of the Birch Box site it will read box click on that and it will show everything that you have received in your box click on the item and to the right of the page it says review this product. The survey will appear. And on to the review.

Since June is the month for fathers day they sent out a sample of men's cologne.  My father and brother don't wear fancy colognes they have there preference of what they have been using for years, so I gave it to my cousin.. I smelled it and I like it. I would recommend it. *****

Tili Bags

These bags are the perfect size foe travel. I guess when you travel you are to put your liquids for your carry on in a quart size bag. Even though these are very cute you can go to the grocery store and buy plain ziploc bags for much cheaper and you get more so I don't recommend this product.

Beauty Blender Cleaner

 I don't have a Beauty Blender. But it also cleans your make up brushes.  If you wouls like to know what a Beauty Blender is see picture. 

 

This is used the same as the wedges that you apply your make up. the reason for the shape is it get in to any curvaceous of your face for perfect foundation. Back to the cleanser.. I used it on my brushed and yes it works.. I haven't cleaned my brushed before and never realized how dirty they where. Would I buy it? I don't know, I would like to try other products 1st But I would I Recommend it Yes I would. It is natural soy based. ****

Number 4 Super Comb Prep and Protect

This protects your hair from blow drying and hot Irons as well as UV rays. I haven'y used it before Straightening my hair yet , but I have used it if I was gonna be out in the sun awhile. I might try it and see if it makes a difference. The big problem is I hate the way it smells. I think it makes my hair smell dirty. Would I recommend it, I am on the fence. If you have trouble with smell then no. **

These are kinda neat you can use one packet on your entire body. Keep reapplying every 3 days to maintain your tan. I am super pale. I used them before I went to sleep.  After it dried I went to bed and woke up with a tan. Here is a problem.. .... Tip one make sure you apply it evenly. I thought I did but I was so streaky it was actually funny, If you are good at applying this then is awesome . If you don't like this product it washed of after 3 showers. It smells nice too. But I would recommended it.*****

Beauty Queen

Lip and and check Stain.. I love this color. I used it on my lips and cheeks. Just remember if you use it on your cheeks to blend it very quickly or it will leave dots or streaks on your face. I love lip stain and I do recommend this product.  *****
